Morning warriors, unite! A sleek new salon and spa just opened at the newly renovated Loews Regency Hotel on Park Avenue. The Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa is bringing “Power Beauty” to the home of the legendary Power Breakfast.
The state-of-the-art 10,000-square-foot destination will meet the demands of early risers and open at 7:00 a.m. by appointment. In addition to 32 custom-designed cutting stations, one may also request a multi-service VIP room. The treatment menu includes a trademarked list of “Power Beauty” services from the Power Coif to Power Manicures and Pedicures. For the guys, there’s a topnotch full-service grooming experience located on a men’s only floor. There’s also a 1,700-square-foot fitness center.
Farel has managed to put together an impressive team of experts, including well-known dermatologist, Dr. Doris Day. She will address the facets of one’s well-being and self-improvement through ongoing Roundtable sessions. The spa also focuses on clinically proven anti-aging therapies to address sun damage, wrinkles, and other signs of aging without invasive surgery, and uses Natura Bisse, a luxurious results-oriented skincare line from Spain. There are 10 large treatment rooms, including seven massage and esthetic rooms and three very secluded VIP spaces. Treatment rooms feature, among other things, multitasking chairs that allow one to enjoy a pedicure while having a signature facial (a true “Power Hour”).
Award-winning residential designer, Meyer Davis, designed the space that takes its inspiration from modern Parisian decor—a nod to Farel’s French heritage. The unique two-floor open concept includes chic touches, such as floor-to-ceiling windows, a gorgeous fireplace, and tons of natural light and welcoming warmth. loewshotels.com/Regency-Hotel/spa
