Founded by industry veterans Gina Jacoby, Deirdre Strunk, and Lynne Hite, the SoCal Spa Wellness Collective is a hub for mentorship, collaboration, and industry growth. Spa directors, managers, and owners are stretched thinner than ever, notes Hite, emphasizing the Collective’s mission to serve and support. “We’re also going to listen to our members and help provide support where we can for those needs,” she states. “Gina, Deirdre, and I have very different backgrounds—and our resources are vast. We can help solve just about any problem that our members are facing.”

Upcoming Events & Membership Launch
The Collective will officially launch with an inaugural meet-and-greet at Formula Fig in West Hollywood, California, on April 29th, held during the Brand [Uncover] Spring Showcase. This event will provide industry professionals with an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and explore the latest innovations in wellness.
Additionally, exclusive memberships will be available starting April 1st. Each new member will receive a personalized 20-minute onboarding call to discuss their goals and identify opportunities for growth.

An advocate for all things spa, Mary forged a vocabulary for spa reportage that is widely used by those who cover the issues today. Recently honored as a Top 30 Influential Voice Transforming Wellness by Medika Life, Mary is an inaugural honoree of Folio’s Top Women in Media Award. Her spa media roots run deep—in 1997, she launched American Spa magazine, in 2007, she co-founded Organic Spa magazine, and in between serving on the ISPA and NYSPA Board of Directors, she was on the launch teams of Luxury SpaFinder and New Beauty magazines. Named a "Wonder Woman of Wellness" by American Spa magazine, Mary was honored by the International Spa Association with the distinguished ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award.
