On March 11, 2018, the Global Wellness Institute and its Sustainability Initiative, chaired by Bonnie Baker, principal, Satteva Spa and Wellness Concepts, will host its first roundtable discussion on the vital intersection between human and environmental wellbeing. Beyond Sustainability: Defining a New Terrain for Vital Wellbeing is an invitation-only event gathering international leaders in the fields of health, hospitality, development, architecture, and economy to discuss the future of wellness within the context of contemporary concerns surrounding access to natural resources and climate change. The event will be the opening day kick-off to the Green Spa Network’s 10th Annual Congress in Carmel Valley Ranch, California.
The roundtable aims to address issues of environmental impact on wellbeing, social responsibility, and creating a baseline context for future development and investment that promote personal, as well as planetary health.
