The Global Wellness Summit (GWS) comes home to America next month when its 17th annual summit is held at Hyatt Regency Miami, November 6th through the 9th. GWS is recognized as the voice of the global wellness economy, now valued at $4.4 trillion.
“We look forward to gathering the GWS family in beautiful Miami for the world-class program you have come to expect, exploring the latest trends and innovations in the wellness industry, providing an environment for impactful conversations, and fostering meaningful connections,” shares the GWS team. At the summit, GWS will release the new Global Wellness Economy Monitor that includes the much-anticipated, updated bubble chart.
This year’s summit is dedicated to the theme “A Time of Transformation,” with stand-outs that include gymnast Simone Biles who will share her extraordinary story of courage and resilience in a keynote conversation, and Timbaland, Grammy-award winning producer and artist who will inspire attendees with his personal wellness journey. An agenda overview may be found here.
Miami, with its plethora of spa and sunshine and water, is the ideal location to host this year’s summit. After all, international travelers have been seeking the healing waters of Florida since Juan Ponce de León arrived in 1513—one hundred and seven years before the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock. Ponce de León was supposedly searching for a mythical spring—the Fountain of Youth. Modern science tells us that waters are restorative and that while Ponce de León may not have completed his quest, visitors to the Global Wellness Summit or indeed any mineral spring or seawater bathing can.
