The International SPA Association will host a series of virtual Spa Reopening Town Halls intended to share the insights and observations of spa leaders who have reopened their businesses as restrictions caused by COVID-19 are lifted. The series will launch Wednesday, June 3 at 2:00 pm EST and continue each Wednesday through at least June 24. Each ISPA Town Hall will focus on a specific topic and be led by a panel of spa professionals with hands-on experience leading, supporting, or participating in a spa reopening.
As spas around the world continue to navigate toward reopening and beyond, these town halls will provide the opportunity for professionals throughout the spa industry to share with and learn from one another at a critical time. Registration for the town halls is complimentary, and participants will be able to submit questions to panelists during the events.

“There is no substitute for experience, and ISPA is confident that providing a space for those in our industry to share real-world feedback, identify areas of opportunity, and determine additional needs will help others reopen their spas safely and successfully,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “We’re so grateful to those within the spa industry who have volunteered to share their experiences, and we’re excited to offer this resource for the industry to come together to support one another during this time.”
The first ISPA Town Hall will address preparing staff and planning back-of-house operations prior to reopening, with subsequent events to focus on the guest experience, financial planning, and innovative reopening ideas. Panelists are currently being finalized, and the participants will be revealed prior to each town hall.
Registration is now open to all spa industry professionals for the June 3 event. Registration is complimentary to both ISPA members and nonmembers.
